These are the projects that we've worked on in the 2017-2021 school years. As the years go on, we look forward to continuing to organize more outreach events and making a bigger impact in our community.

Giving students the opportunity to explore STEAM
Making meals with a bit of humor.
Our team decided the best way to help the community was by starting at the various base of it: children. To do so, we hosted events at school and worked at community events to educate kids about their future possibilities.
Working with teachers to bring STEM and humanities topics into the classroom.
Behind the Scenes
We first survey the community around us and identify what issues exist in education. Then, we determine a specific school, community, or population that could benefit from us doing an event.
Several factors go into making this decision:
- Student population
- We target Title 1 schools in Montgomery County. In these schools, the majority of students come from low-income families.
Research
Planning
Once we've identified the issue and chosen a school, community, or population to target, we decide on a project or event that would benefit them the most.
- For example, if a school lacks both the materials and teachers to allow students to experience STEM, we can design a STEM night in order to give more students the opportunity.
