MCPS has 23 Title 1 schools, meaning that each of those schools has a high population of students who come from low-income families. Our mission is to positively impact those schools and their surrounding community through educational means.
This club was created in early 2017 with the goal of finding a way to give back to our community. As the year went on, we found a passion for education and giving students more opportunities to explore subjects and topics they wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to.
Our team is comprised of Walt Whitman High School students who are dedicated to making changes! We come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are ready to develop new ideas.
